Youth Writes is a blog created by Eileen Hagan, a Washington, DC-area teen and aspiring writer. Eileen developed Youth Writes as a space to nurture young writers ages 10-18 by featuring their original creative writing, including short works of fiction, poetry, and essays. She initially developed the website when she was twelve years old, hoping to give young writers a voice. Since then, Youth Writes has grown internationally.
